USC’s Center for the Political Future, which fosters bipartisan dialogue, research and scholarships for students to pursue careers in civic engagement, has announced its new director. Gary Peters, who is stepping into the role, is a soon-to-retire Democratic senator from Michigan. Peters will also serve as the Warsaw Chair in Practical Politics beginning in January. In addition to Peters, CPF brought on six new people to lead study groups for its fellowship program.
